Bazepay is how payment works on Bazepoint: your money never goes straight to the manufacturer. It sits in a protected Bazepay account and only moves in three stages, each one gated behind something you explicitly approve.
Three stages, nothing more
Example: a $720 order (100 units at $7.20/unit). The same 30/40/30 split applies to every order, regardless of size.
Released as soon as you fund the order, so the manufacturer can purchase raw materials and start production.
Released once you approve photo/video proof or a third-party inspection report of the finished production run, not before.
Released only once the goods actually arrive at your door.

Where does my money actually sit?
Neither with us nor with the manufacturer. When you fund an order, your money goes into a protected Bazepay account. We don't hold it on Bazepoint's own balance sheet, and the manufacturer can't touch it either. It's held securely by an automated contract and only released in the three stages above, as you sign off on each milestone.
What if something goes wrong?
Your unreleased funds stay safe in your Bazepay account. If a manufacturer misses agreed quality standards or fails to ship, the remaining 70% stays locked. Our team steps in immediately to review proof, resolve disputes, or process refunds directly to your account.
What does it cost?
Bazepay fee, charged when an order is funded, to guarantee total capital protection.
No fee for your first 12 months. After that, 1% on matched orders plus $99/month to stay on our verified list, and never a fee on repeat orders from a buyer you've already worked with.
Why cross-border fees mostly disappear
Behind the scenes, Bazepay settles internationally in stablecoins (USDC), so you skip the wire fees and currency conversion markups a typical cross-border order carries, without ever touching crypto yourself. You pay and get paid in your normal currency from your normal bank account; the savings just show up on your invoice.
