Who holds my money while the order is in progress?

Neither us nor the factory. When you fund an order, your money goes into a protected Bazepay account. We do not hold your cash on our balance sheet. Instead, it is held securely by an automated contract and only released in three stages (30/40/30) as you sign off on production milestones.

What happens if the manufacturer never ships?

Your money stays yours. Because your funds are tied to fixed milestones, a factory cannot touch your remaining cash if they fail to meet production quality or refuse to ship. 30% is released to start production, 40% only after you approve photo proof of the finished product run, and the final 30% only when the goods arrive at your door.

What does Bazepoint cost?

We charge a clear 1.5% Bazepay fee to the buyer when an order is funded. Because we route payments using digital currencies behind the scenes, you skip traditional bank wire fees and expensive international currency conversion markups. Factories pay a separate 1% matching fee and a flat $99 monthly membership to stay on our verified list.

How do you verify a manufacturer?

We do it manually. Unlike standard online directories where anyone can buy a premium badge, a real person on our team reviews every single factory across our regions (Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Oceania). We check their business registration, physical operations, and trading history so you don't get stuck dealing with hidden middlemen.

Do I need to use crypto?

No. While we use digital stablecoins (USDC) in the background to cut down international transfer fees and secure your payment, the platform is built for regular bank transfers. You pay normally in your local currency from your bank account, and our system handles the backend conversion automatically.

Can I bring my own manufacturer?

Yes. If you already have a supplier but want to protect your deposit and ensure they don't vanish after you pay them, you can invite them to the platform. Once our team manually checks and approves their business licenses, you can run your order through our secure 30/40/30 milestone payment setup.

Is my product idea private?

Completely. You don't need complex blueprints or technical manufacturing terms to get started. You just describe what you want to make in plain English. Our search tool looks through our private factory network to find the best match, keeping your designs and contact details hidden until you are ready to message a supplier.
